Like a champion gymnast perfecting a winning routine, in just one year the event, organized by Russian businessman Vasily Kliukin, got more multi-dimensional and virtually showing foolproof art style, one based on agility rather than brawn and, though narrow in range, but capable of surprising variations and extensions.
For the first time last year members of the SNOB project visited breathtaking contemporary art exhibition in Monte Carlo. What is SNOB would you wonder? It is the unique online and offline platform open to the international public but united by Russian way of thinking and love to Russian culture as such. SNOB is the official media supporter of that very arty event.
As always, the exhibition will take place in the Japanese garden on the Avenue Princesse Grace. Exhibition is divided into five thematic blocks, so visitors will have a chance to see art canvasses, designer fashion, sculptures, photographs and architectural miniatures.
Just to keep you mind going, a little snapshot of what to expect:
Famous Russian fashion designer Andrej Sharov, student of infamous Slava Zaitcev, this time transformed into a painter will be showing his collection of portraits done on national flags with framing created out of old plane parts. Fashion section is done by Lebanese maître of high couture Zuhair Murad, who is dressing up the celebrities like Beyonce, Aguilera and Jenniffer Lopez to name just a few. If you are not that much into fashion and painting, there is also something more practical on the showcase: skyscrapers of the future presented by Vasily Kliukin himself.
